Unable to open ARW - Files

Hi,
I am using PS express on Windows 10.
Unfortunately I am unable to open .arw files. It shows an error message which says that the selected file has an unsupported filetype.(see screenshot)
Why is that? The Microsoft Store page says that .arw files are supported.
Everything works fine with other filetypes like .CR2 or .jpg.
