Web-based Photoshop Express and Web-based Lightroom???

This seems like it should be really easy.

I am using Lightroom and Photoshop Express (web versions) on chrome with my macbook air. 

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to open any photos I've saved in Lightroom in Photoshop Express.

Do these only work when running the application outside of a browser? If so, what's the point of this cloud thingy again??
