Hello dear folks,

I have a 2013-14-ish HP PC (at my business) that I have then period Elements, and a 2018 PC at home with then period Elements. I am trying to send project (video editing files to home for further editing at home - the more recent device). Codec problems. What should I do?

Thanks you for helping a guy who grew up with rotary dial phones....

J

I agree with Bob.  The versions are too far apart.

(Bob:  You need a new phone.  As stabilzed video shooters they are amazing and they run Adobe's new Rush video editor.)

Thank you, that is what I guessed.

Our dial phone was a shared "party line".

Are the two computers running exactly the same version of Premiere Elements?  What files are you sending and how are you sending them?

Versions that are probably 7 years apart LOL 2013 & 2020.

The project files will not be compatible with that much of a difference in versions.

(And a side note: I still use a flip phone and have a few rotary phones.)
