2020 premier elements output files bigger than premier elements 13

I create a video with 8 phots (each less than 1 MB) transitions and trailer.  The output file is for mobil users (MP4). In Premier elements 13 the output file is 12 - 13 MB. The same inputs, transitions and trailer is 35 - 40 MB. Cannot not figure out why!
