Activation limit reached Premiere Elements 14 - only one computer activated

I can't activate Premiere Elements 14 as it says that the serial is already used for the max number of computers. I've deactivated an old computer and the only computer that is activated now is the very same computer I'm trying to install Elements on. How do I solve this?

My other Adobe products like LR and PS works fine.

Adobe Customer Service (Support) no longer has the ability to reset activations.
The only way to deactivate is if you can open the program on the computer that you want to deactivate.

I'm not aware of any workarounds.

They want you to deactivate the software on the old computer.

If you have done this and still can not use PSE, you need to contact Adobe directly.

Adobe Photoshop Elements Learn & Support

On the bottom of the screen click on "Contact Us."

There are also regional telephone numbers

Reach us by phone (adobe.com)

Call 800-833-6687

Had the same problem for PCs I no longer have. Only had software ever installed on 1 single PC. They were able to clear the activation list on their end and clear the issue. Online CHAT was useless. They also said the number of activations or Activated Devices would not show up on your online account profile under Activated Devices. Go figure.

Online CHAT was useless

Unfortunately, if you typed "Agent" into the chat box and have clearly stated to the agent that all you want is your activations reset, sometimes you may get an agent that isn't doing their job properly.

If that happens, go back to chat and hopefully the next agent will do their job properly.
