Add text to video clips that have been heavily edited

Hi

I have quite a large project (as per prior posts!)

In previous version I have added text to a video via the 'T' or 'Text' icon immediately above the video...

That icon no longer appears... the only reason i can think is because ive done quite a bit of editing e.g. reverse videos, spped them up, slow them down...

See attached for what it now shows above the videos.

I note that there is a 'T' icon to the right, which id assumed would show me the text ive added to the clip and allow me to edit... but i can't find it unfortunately...

Thanks!

As your screenshot shows, you are working in Quick View, which has a number of limitations, particularly when it has to do with titles.

If you switch to Advanced View, you'll find extra video tracks for adding your titles and text to.

Thanks Steve.

i did switch to advanced and I could not see where to view or edit the previous Text info i had added- but I'll check again this evening.

thanks again.

any tips on pasting copied video mid-way appreciated. As mentioned it appears to overwrite other videos unless I paste it at the end.

thanks
