Question

Adding multiple Audio tracks of different properties

Hello,

If I have 2 or more audio tracks I want to add to an Elements 2021 Project, and the audio properties of each are of a different encoding/sample-rate/bit-size, etc etc, will these audio tracks be properly rendered?

(ie: no weird mickey mouse off-pitch audio).

Thanks.

Best is to convert all audio to wav 48kHz before bringing it into Elements.

You can do this with Audacity

Actually I agree with Ann.

While they audio files probably won't misbehave in your project, you'll be better off taking the few minutes to standardize them. At least then you know you'll get consistent quality in your sound.

Yes.

Well, assuming that their properties aren't so extremely non-standard the program can't assimilate them. But if you're talking about mixing a 48k and a 44.1k audio, you won't have any problems.
