Adobe Elements 14 will not load file

I've been editing an Adobe Premiere Elements 14 .prel file. Now when I try to open it it will not load past 88% (varies between 75-88%). I've opened it a few times after saving and closing out and it worked fine. I've checked the computer and there is plenty of space. Any suggestions?

    Make a copy of your backup and try opening that one.

    This did not work. I have tried the program on other computers and I am having issues with those also. What can I do?
