Adobe Elements 2018. Troublesome rendering of long projects

Win 10 system
Adobe 2018
Trouble rendering 1h 20 min of the project.
In the case of several attempts to render such a long project, e.g. (MP4 and MTS input files, mp4 or m2v output), after reaching about 70%, the process seems to be stopped and the remaining rendering time does not decrease but increases. The same Project set e.g. 40 min. renders multiple times with no problem.
I am asking for suggestions, help. Perhaps  Adobe Elements 2018 is not prepared for such long projects in one mp4 file?
Thanks for any help

Correct answer dowa5

50 gig is too little.

Need much larger disks.

Exporting is not just the file size itself, but Elements also need adequate room to make the file (auxiliary files).

Best is to work with full size disks, not portioned.

Hallo!
I did what you suggested.
I increased the free space on the disc partition to 84 GB (70 GB was not enough) and the program rendered the project 1h and 20 'with success.
Thanks a lot for help. Best regards

You machine might not be up for the task.

Post comp specs and disk setup.
