As I've said before, your movie is too long to fit on a DVD in AVCHD format.

Yes, some BluRay players can play AVCHD video on a DVD. DVDs players can not.

If you want to create a playable AVCHD disc, use Share/Disc and select the AVCHD option. You can fit about 20 minutes of AVCHD video on a DVD. But, as I said, this disc will not play on any DVD player.

No, an  AVCHD file will NOT play in a DVD player.

And a 30 minute AVCHD file may well be too large for a DVD to hold.

...................Hey Steve, so you are saying that productions in AVCHD will only play on say Blue Ray Players then and not DVD Player??

....................what format etc should I be burning my productions on then ??

...................still need to rectify my situation with m y error though

What are you trying to put an AVCHD file on a DVD? This type of file won't play on a DVD player. You will only be able to play it on a computer.

Your video is also pretty long. An AVCHD that runs nearly half an hour long will not likely fit on a 4.7 gig disc.

What do you plan to do with the file when you output it? If we know that, we may be able to recommend a better workflow.

...................Thank you Steve for your replay , when I burn onto a DVD using DVD on the share menu it isn't in HD so i do it on AVCHD which plays on 90% of DVD players that all my customers have used , I can fit 30-35 minutes of production on a 4.7GB DVD , I am not really tech savi so I not sure what you are asking in the final question
