Adobe Premiere Elements 11 lose changes after saving and quitting

Hello all,

I'm working with adobe premiere elements 11.0 and have a problem that came up just a few days ago. When wanting to close a project, I save it and then quit, but the software asks if I want to save the changes, which I have just done. If I click yes, it doesn't close. If I click no, it closes but all the changes I've made are lost and when I reopen, it is back to the point where I was when the problem first arose. Any ideas?

By the way, I'm using a 2015 MacBook Pro and have my project saved on an Intenso USB key.

Are you saying that your project files are on a USB thumb drive? I don't know that that will work.

You'll need to have your project and media files on your computer.

Have you at least tried moving your project and media files to your hard drive to see if that resolves the issue?

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the quick reply! That seems to have solved it. I hadn't tried it originally as this is the setup I have used for all of my projects and it hadn't caused any problems until now... I will be keeping this in mind for the future
