Adobe Premiere Elements 15 doesn´t worg correctly

When i start the audio mixer to control the Loudness the program doesn´t work any longer. I have more then 1000 clips in the project. Is this too much??

    Can you be more specific? What exactly are you doing and what is happening when you do it?

    Also, what processor do you have with how much RAM? What operating system do you have?

    What types of video and audio files is your project composed of and formats are they?
