Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 Offline Functions

Hi together,

I got the intention to buy Premire Elements 2018, while using the demo first i remarked that i have to activate the internet on my pc for some basic render features.

Will a constant running internet connection be necessary to fully operate the Software or is this a limitation for the demo?

Do i have to buy the software each year like the cloud version?
