In you're integrating still graphics in .png, you can get a lot smoother picture if you convert the .png files to .jpg format.

I usually convert my photos to psd.  I have on occasion had problems with transparency on some pngs.

    Willie and Bob,

I use RAWs without trouble.  I've tested to 100 images in a "slideshow".

The real surprise is that Adobe puts ACR (Adobe Camera Raw) in PrE somewhere.  If the RAWs are first processed in Lightroom with adjustments stored in XMP sidecar files, PrE reads in the file with the Lightroom adjustments!   Lightroom itself restricts slideshows to 1920x1080.  Slideshows in PrE can be built to 4K for the newer TVs.

Also please specify it if plays and stops then plays and stops -- or if it just plays for a few seconds and then permanently stops.

If it's the latter, also indicate which antivirus software you're using.

Along with the requests from Steve and Bob, would you please post a screenshot of your Audio Hardware Preferences page?
