Adobe Premiere Elements 2022 - Only Problems

Hi there,

I have used Premiere Elements 2020 for 2 years now. 2 weeks ago I thought buying the new 2022 version in hope to have better performance. This version is totally crap, what have you done with that program.

 

1. It takes up to 2 minutes to load a project in the edior

2. My system is running totally slow when I change brightness, gamma or external light or any other things until the program crashes.
3. After programm crash I am not able to load the project file again - the program crashes immediately - all work was in vain

 

Sorry I dont know why I have paid money for this crap. Version 2020 also was not that stable but worked without any bigger bugs.

    The average person with a $400 or $500 laptop cannot use this program. If you have a discrete graphics card with 2GB- 4GB of memory onboard you are in luck. Otherwise, the world of computing has graduated into another level beyond your reach. Sorry, us average folk can't afford to be video editor's in the Adobe-verse. Perhaps, another savvy developer will step into the niche created by the overly eager profit driven software companies seeking to please shareholders instead of the greater public. Yes, you will make money appealing to those who have the most  $$$ to spend. But know, the gap is ever widening, and the rank and file who are seeking affordable solutions for "common computers"are going find new avenues for video editing. Who will it be? Not ADOBE.

    NOT ADOBE! Correlate this to Financial software. NOT INTUIT! The world of old school computing has risen to the level of eletist nonsence. Dystopian dicatorship. Others will come and the masses will wait for a more user friendly alternative.

    Sorry you are angry and feel cheated.  This is a user group and have done nothing to turn the program into anything.   

     

    Please know that if you bought directly from Adobe, there is a 30 day return policy. 

     

    If  Premiere Elements universally ran so badly, nobody could use it.   It runs well on my three year old laptop computer.   It can be hard, but the assumption has to be that some combination of settings, hardware or installation routine has caused yours to not work well. 

     

    A place to start is screen shots of your general preferences and your audio hardware preferences.  Adobe also provides a chat system where a tech can remotely troubleshoot your system.

    I have same issue, crashes after 5 minutes of editing. Can't get a real person to speak to. Only Bots. Brand new Laptop with good specs. The real joke is the procedure to get a refund... inexistant and not up to date so useless. I did all the steps and the options never showed up... I guess I've just lost 99$ to a company that needed it more than me.

    The instructions for a refund are on this page.  There is "contact us" in a bright blue font.  A text box will show up where you can communicate with a human by typing.
