Apply default transitions across CTI in one step?

(I'm using 2021 version 19.)

 

In the Expert view, if I want to apply default transitions to my timeline, I have to do it twice:  once for audio and once for video.  Is there a more efficient way?

For me it works to select all the clips, right click, select Timeline and then select Apply Default Transition.

    Bill, I'm attaching a screen shot.  I've selected Timeline, Apply Default Transition, and I now have to do two moves to get both audio and video.  Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

    I don't believe that menu selection adds video and audio transitions. I think it adds only the default video transition.

     

    I don't know of a way to add an audio transition automatically to several clips at once.
