Area Above Video Clips Normally Used to Add Text Turned Tan and Has an "Edit in Expert" Button

So, I was editing my video, when all of a sudden the area between the part where you view the video and the clips at the bottom went from blue to tan, and the add text feature was replaced by a single button that says "Edit in Expert Edit." Any way that I can change this back. Screenshot included.

It sounds like you've bumped up against one of the limitations of Quick View. In Quick View, you only have one track of video. You can still add text, but the text or title must be linked to a video clip.
