Audio dropping with fade

This doesn't happen all the time, but when I go to fade in or out a clip, the audio drops to zero.  I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if it's a bug.  I made a video of it (sorry, no mouse cursor for some reason):

The fade might be behaving oddly as the audio clip has a speed change applied.

I changed the time stretch back to 100% with the same drop.

That's awesome! I didn't know you could do that, and that would most definitely work.  Just a question with that...do I need to enable it first?  I hover my mouse over it and it says something about adding a key...but I click and nothing happens.

EDIT: Yes, I'm an idiot.  You have to click on the audio before you can add a key.
