Audio: No sound from audio 1 or Soundtrack

I have almost completed my project and yesterday everything was working fine.  Now when I come to the final editing the Soundtrack and Audio 1 lines are not working.  The imput shows on the lines and the Narrative is working.  What's going on?

The most common audio issue on this forum comes from the setting in Edit > Preferences > Audio Hardware.  The choices vary by computer.  In Default Input, "None" is frequently a good choice.

Thank you for responding but that didnt work.  "None' was unacceptable.  I think that it was a software glitch because I opened it up a couple of days later and both narrative and background were working.
