Audio out of sync when Time Remapping

Hello, I'm new here so this may be a repost. I couldn't find anything really online to answer my question/issue. I have Adobe Preimere Elements 2020 and when I use the Time Remapping feature to slow down a small portion of my video, the audio keeps playing at 1x. How can I slow down the audio to the same video speed in that section of the video?

Audio is not affected by Time Remapping. In fact, when you exit Time Remapping you usually see a warning that the audio will no longer be in sync with the video, and you are given the option of removing the audio completely from the clip.
