Audio Playback stops when I click outside of Premier Elements 14 screen

if I click my mouse outside of adobe premiere elements stops playing audio. I have multiple monitors and often I have to use other programs while premier is playing audio. Unfortunately if I click the mouse outside of the elements window audio stops. Is there a setting or a work around fix for this?
