Audio problems

Hi,

I am having a recurrent problem with audio, When I put a clip on a track and mute the track after I move it and the sound is gone, even if moved to unmuted tracks.

 

Also, I export the whole project in 1 piece and even when the clip sound works in other programs it doesn't when I try to use that piece as one in another project. Does this make any sense?

Any help, please?

Please forgive me, but I read it three times and it didn't make sense.   Can you post some screen shots of the first part with the muted tracks and moved clips?  What is the source of the audio?

 

When you are refering to clips, do you mean video with audio or audio only?  When you write "whole project" and "another project", are you working two at a time and moving the audio from the first to the second?
