Can Premiere Elements 2020 produce square videos?

Hi All,

Premiere Elemenets 15 can't produce square videos for Facebook, but can PE 2020 produce them? It seems like a pretty standard format now but I haven't seen much conversation recently as to whether this feature has been included?

I've not done it, but I think both Adobe Premiere Rush and Premiere Pro will also do square video.

Normal ratios are good on Facebook. Why square?

I guess, because it looks better on mobile phones, otherwise if it wasn't effective Facebook and Twitter wouldn't support it it.

In my case, clients would like the option and it works better on Instagram as well.

FWIW, CyberLink PowerDirector 18 produces square aspect ratio videos.

No. The only aspect ratios available are 4:3 and 16:9.

Thanks Steve, it seems like a missed opportunity for a basic element. Hopefully it will be included in a future version.
