Can't burn a DVD in Premiere elements 14

No "burn to" screen appears as in tutorial.  I have created a disc image file which I burned to disc, but that disc won't play in my DVD player.  An odd menu type screen appears when I put the disc in the player and it dosen't respond to any commands.

Burning to DVD is pretty basic function of video software.  What is up with this?

    Did you burn the image as an image or as date to disk?

    I have solved the problem.  I made "burned" a disc image file.  Transferring (burning) the disc image file to disc results in an error.  I had to open that disc image file and then transfer (burn) the file titled "VIDEO_TS to my disc drive.

    I would be nice if that was mentioned in the Adobe premiere tutorial.
