Can't get Auto Analyzer to finish

Running PRE version 24.0. Windows 11 Home (automatically updated), Intel Core i7-14700, 2100 Mhz, 20 cores, 32 GB RAM. Tried running Auto-Analyzer on various video clips of different formats (MTS, AVI, MOV, etc.). Rarely does it complete its analysys, instead, it stops at different percents, and will proceed no further.

Suggestions?

Freeze or hang

Hi Steve!

So pleased you are still helping us,! Miss your Muvipix.com, site but still buying your excellent books as I have for many years.

My camcorder now is a Canon Vixia HF G21, a HD camcorder which created the MTS files . However, I've tried running videos (as mentioned in my my post above) that were created with other camcorders from years ago, and even some from current phones.

Is it time for the usual advice of reloading Premiere Elements? I haven't tried that yet. 🙂
