I want to burn a PREL file to disc at either full HD or 4K, but I do not see these options. 720*560 is the highest definition that I can find in Premiere Elements .I am using Premiere Elements 2020 on a Windows 10 PC. These higher definitions ought to be available, but I don't see where. Today I installed the latest update for PE2020. Can anyone help?

I'm sure you know that you can't put a .prel file on a disc.  You make a video out of a .prel project.

Is full HD 1920x1080p?  Blu-Ray discs came close but were they interlaced?  Either way, without the Blu-Ray specific burners you couldn't do it.  Further, due to what I think might be legal issues over Dolby codecs, Adobe does not work with Blu-Ray anymore, at all!

4K?  Not on any common disc that I know of.  I think there may be disk players that accomodate 4K but I don't see them ofen and have never tried one.

The easiest way to do 4K is to start with 4K footage.  The first clip on the line will put a Premiere Elements project into a 4K mode.  When done, output (Export and Share) with 4K settings to an MP4 file with the H.264 codec.  Copy that video file to a USB memory stick ("thumb drive") and plug it directly into any current 4K TV.  It will play beautifully.  You can also upload that same file to YouTube or Vimeo that both support 4K.  Some share there videos via DropBox or similar.

I use to have two Blu-Ray disc players.  One would play full HD video files in an MP4 with the H.264 codec from a disk used as a data disk.  The other would not.  You might try that if you want to stick with short HD projects.

I'm not sure, but it may work better outputing to an internal disk and then copying to the flash drive.   I have a flash drive I keep in my Samsung 4K TV with my videos on it.  The TV's remote does a good job of managing the selection and playback.

    Note:

With each new release of Adobe Premiere Elements, Adobe reviews industry standards, market trends, and user feedback to define the new feature set. In Premiere Elements 2018, support for Blu-ray and AVCHD disc burning has been removed. You can still export in H264 AVCHD and H264 Blu-ray formats using the Advanced Settings option under the Custom tab in the Export & Share workflow.

I've moved this from the Using the Community forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the Premiere Elements forum so that proper help can be offered.
