Question

Cannot find a preset for 2560x1440 60 fps

Hello,

I have just bought premiere elements for the purpose of doing light editing on gameplay videos I've captured.

The footage is captured using Nvidia geforce experience @ 2560 x 1440 resolution and at 60 FPS.

I cannot find a preset for this resolution / FPS in Premiere elements. Surely this is a very common resolution in this day and age which you would expect to have available in a video editor?

.... unless I'm completely missing something?

If somebody can point in the right direction that would be great!

This video walks you through how to create custom project settings in Premiere Elements.

When you're ready to export, I believe you can create your own custom preset for whatever resolution you're trying to export to.

You may not need a custom preset.  I don't have any 2560 x 1440 footage to test so can't be sure.

Premiere Elements is designed to automatically create project settings based on the first clip drug to the timeline.  Then at output, you can (under Advanced Settings) you can output to "Match Source" or make custom settings.

Before you commit a lot of effort, try it with one or two clips.

@Bill Sprague

Elements does not make custom project settings. They are all standard.

A 2560x1440 clip will not make a matching project settings > it will be 1920x1080.

Nor will the output match.

OP needs to make custom settings (see video posted above).
