Change 'Duration' of multiple slides

Hi

I’m looking for a way to Change 'Duration' of multiple slides…

I have found this thread: Changing multiple slide lengths at once? CS6 | Community

However I cannot see where on the properties on the right this can be done.  I am on APE 2024, so maybe it is slightly different.

Thanks!

There is no tool for controlling the speed of slides. That has to be done individually in Premiere Elements. However there is a workaround.

Output your slideshow as an MP4. Place this MP4 on your timeline. Right-click and select Time Stretch, then set Time Stretch to speed up or slow down you slideshow.

    Thanks Steve.

Just to clarify, where you say ‘Speed’, you also mean ‘duration’?

Given the link in my original post, im surprised there is no way to control the duration of the slides….. they are 5 seconds at present, i need them to be 2 seconds.

I just wanted to check we were talking about the same thing.

    Thanks

When you’re setting Time Stretch for a video (which is what your MP4 slideshow is), you can set playback speed or duration. They each will do the same thing -- speed up or slow down your slideshow.

To turn a 5 second per slide show into a 2 second per slide, set the playback speed to 250%.
