Changing text in Movie Clip

Hi All,

I am a beginner, so please be kind to me... 😉

I am working on my parents old 8mm movies (made between 1958 - 1970), got them digitalized.
I am adding "text(=names)" to the persons (old relatives) by making a "picture" (freezing the movie during 5 sec), works just great.
BUT, when checking the movies, I realized that I have named some of them wrong - and I can't get hold of the text again, can not correct/change my added text !!!???

Please, need some help.... 😉

    Two different things here...

When you are editing you have (for example) flour and water and yeast... you can change any ingredient while editing

Put your mix in the oven (export to mp4) and you now have an UNCHANGING loaf of bread

To make changes you need to go back to your project (the raw ingredients) and make the changes there and export again

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.

Are you using Premiere Elements in Expert View on your timeline? If so, the text will appear as a video clip on an upper track.

If you can't find it, please post a screen shot of your timelime to this forum.

A screen shot was incuded in my post "Adobe.jpg" - and yes, I did use "expert".

The text clip appeared as a clip when I added the text.
But after saving it (as an *.mp4) and reopened in Elements, the actual "text clip" is ni longer visible (it is embedded in the movie, though)
