Clip dimension match

I am trying Premier elements.

I am getting an error saying my clip needs to match settings dimetions (see attached screen shot) but how?

Help does not guide me to do and get rid of error.

How do I get the settings to match?

This is not a 16:9 video. Premiere Elements will not be able to match this video's dimensions.

You need to add that clip to the project before any other clips and then the project dimensions will match that clip's dimensions.

The project's dimensions are set by the first clip added to the timeline.

Start a new prioject and add that clip before any other clips.

That doen't make any difference Peru Bob, the error still happens. I am only trying on 1 clip.
