Crawling Text in PE 2025

Just upgraded from 2020 to 2025 version of Premiere Elements.

Can anyone provide some tips on how to create crawling text in PE2025 as I have looked everywhere for options to do it but can't find any.

It was easy in 2020 version.

Assume 1080P project

Insert the text you want to roll on a new layer using the Text tool (for example: in the top left corner)

switch to Effect Controls

go to the beginning of the roll and create a keyframe

Under Graphics select Position and change the Y coordinate until the top of the text is at the bottom of the window (a positive number like 1600)

Go to the end of your roll time and change the Y coordinate to the final value (a negative number like -4300)

scrub the timeline to test

This was actually for PP 2025 - it might not work exactly the same way in PE 2025, but you get the idea

@filmographie

OP wants a crawl (as in horizontal) not a roll with is present in Elements.

Create the text in Photoshop Elements, save it as a PSD, import it into Premiere Elements, place it on the timeline, and then keyframe the motion.

There is no crawl option for text in 2025.

There seems to be a few useful options that have been removed.  Strange !!
