Creating own default text box, font and colour

I can't find out how to create and make default my preferred text from the available lists etc. Having to set this for every text action is very time consuming ... there must some easy method for this to become Text/New Text/Default Text.

Pick any style from the list,

adjust to your liking,

Save style (right click)

Your custom style will appear at the bottom of the list.

I get to 'here' but then how to 'Save as Custom' has got me beat just now!

Next to TEXT is says STYLE.
