Hello. I have another question. Where can I find inspiring creative examples. When I search YouTube for Premiere elements, I often see videos about basic things. Does anyone have links to better material. Thanks in advance.

Inspiring creative examples do not come in books or tutorials.

They sprout from the creative mind.

Vimeo has lost of creative videos. Study them and see if you can recreate them in Elements.

Also, creative ideas are not limited to Premiere Elements. Quite often we hear from people who saw a cool effect in a movie or on TV and want to know how to recreate it.

In fact, a few years ago I wrote a book with 50 special effects that can be done in Premiere Elements. It was written a couple of years ago, but the effects all work in the current version of the program.

This page shows examples of what you can do using instructions in the book and offers a couple tutorials on how to do them.

I immediately looked at some tricks. Cool.
I learned a lot more from Premiere than just the creative effects. But what also makes a difference is that it is told and you immediately see the action and the effect. So much more convenient than going through all kinds of texts.

Thanks all.

Lots of public libraries have free access to Linda.com, also called LinkedIn Learning.   Steve Grisetti has more in depth courses on Premiere Elements.  In addition, there are a lot of courses on creative video creation.   If you can't get access through your public library, it may be worth paying for a month or two of access.

Thanks for the plug, Bill!

Have you checked out the tips and tutorials along the top of the program's Welcome Screen? Adobe is continually building out that library.

Meantime, Pim, if you'll tell us what effect you're trying to create, we can likely direct you to help or a tutorial.
