default folder for Elements

is there a way to display a default folder when opening Elements? As opposed to opening the first folder on my list of folders?

I'm not sure what you're asking. Doesn't the program open in the last folder you drew media from?

for me it opens with ALL Media... with the very first image (out of thousands) in the first position. I'd like to have it open to a specific folder that I could change is warranted. Thanks for any help you can give.

I don't know a way you can designate which folder it always chooses from.
