Deleted clip reappearing during transition

Hi,

I have deleted the beginning of a clip then applied a cross dissolve transition between that clip and the one before it. But now when I play it back, the deleted portion from the beginning of the clip is partially showing during playback. Any ideas how to resolve this?

    Willie is right. A one-second transition includes about half a second before the incoming clip and half a second after the outgoing clip. To make sure that trimmed segment doesn't show during your transition, simply trim another half second off the video.

    The transition picks up a piece of the clip and is really a 'mini-clip'; so if you delete the transition, everything ought to be fine.
