Disc menu audio

I use Premiere Elements 12 with my OS of Win7Pro.  I like to input an audio for my disc menu; however, I cannot adjust the volume of that audio clip.  I usually go back to the movie and increase the volume of the regular soundtracks to compensate.  Otherwise, when the disc is inserted, and the disc menu shows up, the audio can be really loud, while the audio in the movie clips is pleasing.  When I increase the volume of the movie to equal the disc menu audio, it is with the assumption that I will be decreasing the TV's volume.  Again, is there a way to control the volume of the audio clip I add to the disc menu?  Thank you.

    You can not control the audio for your disc menu from the program. You'll need to use a program like Audacity to lower the volume of the original music clip before you add it to your project.

    I also do not recommend increasing the level of your music's audio to match your movie menu's. Under Premiere Elements' Tools menu, open the Audio Mixer and raise or lower your movie's audio so that it does not exceed 0. If you overload your movie's audio, it will sound distorted and ugly on your DVD.

    Thank you. I tried to use the link provided in your emailed reply to click

    on the "Correct" option, and that option did not show up on my screen.

    Since I usually lower the audio clips IN the movie anyway, when I raise

    them a little as mentioned in my Q, I am probably only restoring them to

    the 0 point.

    Have a good day. I'll try again by just logging into the forum...if I can

    remember how to do that.
