Download and save copy

I note that My Products are listed in My Account. In case of programme/pc etc. failure is it wise to keep a software copy on, say, ext HD or will this product always be available in My Account for download.

 

If a local copy is recommended, what is the download procedure.

Installation of Premiere Elements is not entirely complete.  Varias effects, transitions and music are downloaded as needed.  This might be to conserve users' disc space.  As Premiere Elements ages, it may become impossible to retrieve what is not included in a fresh installation.
