Crashes every time trying to add movie themes from movie menu. Scene markers already added to (1.45 hours) of  project HD video with some jpeg stills included.

Steve

I created a video with only two short video clips,a photo and short music item. I added one scene marker. The video menu added without crashing. Could it be it is crashing because my project video is too large.

Definitely.

It's possible it's a heat issue. Chillblast computers are notoriously overclocked and can run hot. Is the program just shutting down or does your whole computer shut down? How hot is your processor when this is happening?

Also ensure you have the latest drivers for your GPU by installing the GeForce Experience software from nVidia.

I installed the latest drivers today but only installed the card driver option and not including the  Geforce experience option. Does that make a difference as I do not use the PC for gaming. It still crashes after this driver update. As far as the heat goes I have not noticed it getting very hot also I have just turned  the cold PC on and run the project video and it crashed. This time it gave this error message - (E:\Adobe\pre\Release\19\ALL_LANG_19.1\MediaCore\Backend\Src\DVD\DVDLI re-ran the program and it crashed again but without any error message showing.

Do you have any of the Adobe Creative Cloud installed? I'm particularly curious about Premiere Pro and the Media Encoder.

Also, as an experiment try starting a new project and add only a couple of photos. No video. Does the program still crash when you try to add a menu?
