Elements 2023 angeschlossene Videokamera wird nicht erkannt

Hallo, ich benutze Adobe Premiere Elements 2023 unter Windows 11 zum ersten mal und bin noch dabei zu testen. Wenn ich nun einen Film von der Videokamera Canon HV20 über Firewire laden möchte und ich den Videoeditor starte, Medien hinzufügen auswähle und Videos von Kameras und Geräten anklicke ist die Quelle ausgegraut und ich kann nichts aswählen. Wenn ich das gleiche mit meinem alten Magix Video easy mache funktioniert es und ich kann den Film auf PC speichern. Sollte ich mal Premiere kaufen sollte diese Funktion aber gehen. Kann man da noch was einstellen, da ja zumindest die Funktion da ist sollte es ja auch gehen.

You cannot capture footage of the Canon HV20 with Elements 2023.

The capture feature over firewire has been retired quite a few versions ago.

Capture your footage with Magix to the harddrive then import into Elements.

You can also use

old but still usable.

Are you able to import the video if you first use the Windows file manager to copy the video to a folder on your hard drive?
