elements organizer stops upon load

I have downloaded the trial version of elements to see if it meets my needs.  I have been using Picasa but it now time to move on.  I have tried opening organizer but it stops when loading "mediacore components".   I have tried running as an admin and have unistalled and redownloaded and reinstalled.  No need to buy it if I can't run it.  Any Ideas?

I am running windows 10 pro 10 N version 1709 os build 16299.248   32G memory core I7
