Elements--trouble with time remapping

Question

I'm having a heck of a time getting time remapping to work smoothly.

When I click on a clip > tools > time remapping, it's really hard to find the CTI along my clip within the time remapping view. When I zoom in or out, the clip disappears but the CTI doesn't show up anywhere.

As far as I can tell, there's no way to scroll along a clip and look for it within time remapping.

When I am able to find the CTI, I am not able to drag it to select more than a few seconds out (even if my clip is much longer).

I'm an Elements novice so maybe I'm totally missing something?

Possibly.

Are you working on an especially long clip? Can you post a screen capture of what you're seeing to this forum?
