Embedding PowerPoint Slides

Total newbie/analog guy. Using PE 15 in the Expert mode. Trying to insert ppt slides into a recorded presentation. I can get the video and the slides (PNG Files) into the show no problem. My problem is that the slides are not proportionate to the screen. In other words, when I insert the slide it doesn't cover the entire the entire video. I tried sizing the slide, but adjustments are made in all four directions and the slide becomes too large. Is there a way to be able to size the slides so they are seen in their entirety and cover the full range of the underlying video? Any other ideas? I thank you in advance.

Thanks for looking. Filmora still works for me, so all is not lost. Thank you.

What is the size, measured in pixels, of your PowerPoint slides?

What are your Premiere Elements project settings? You'll find them under the Edit menu, under Project Settings/General.

Note that text slides from PowerPoint don't always look crisp and clean, as they do in PowerPoint. For text, it's best to recreate the text in Premiere Elements, if you're unhappy with the look of imported PowerPoint slides.

Steve,

Thank you for replying. I do not know how to find the pixel size of the PowerPoint slides. My project settings are 1920x1080. Again, I thank you for helping me.
