error message when trying to export 5.5 gig file elements 2020

Question

I keep getting an error message when i try to export  a  21 minute movie, the message comes at 100%. I split the  movie in half and can make two parts and they export fine, but again when i try to link them in new project i get an errror message at 100%.  im running windows 7, lots of ram. i7 chipset, excellent graphics card. whats going on? its elements 2020. oh ive restarted my computer and still no joy.

How much free, clean, defragmented space is on your hard drive?

BTW, according to the system requirements, Premiere Elements 2020 can not be run on Windows 7. So there may not be a fix, and that may not be the only problem you'll face.
