everytime after I upload videos on premier, it stops responding and I have to force quit the app

my laptop has about 15 GB left and the videos I'm uploading don't take all of the space, what should I do!!!

    15 gig of free space on a hard drive is hardly enough to do something as intensive as edit video. I never work with less than 50 gigs free -- and that I regularly defragment.

    What happens if you have at least 50 gigs free and you clean and defragment your drive?
