EXPORTING a video

I am using Elements 2023. I rendered a 4 minute mp4 from OBS and tried to export and share. The program does not respond and I have to close it. I used to do this export and share all the time with older elements.

Can you start it directly from the .exe file in Program Files?

OBS and other screen recorders sometimes pop up here as challenges.   What seems to happen is that the screen recorder system makes a change to improve performance and that change to internal structure trips up the editing.   As Greg wrote, a common fix is to use Handbrake to conform the file structure to a very common file structure that is easier to edit.

I've been editing digital videos for over 20 years and I've never heard of OBS.  Googling it brings me to the conclusion that the question does belong in the Premiere Elements forum, so I will move this discussion.

@Steve28977722yilm, in the meantime, you may want to render the OSB video using Handbrake which is a free utility that generally does a good job with non-conforming video.  You can then use Premiere for editing the Handbrake mp4 file.

Is this a Premiere Elements question (You are in the Photoshop Elements forum)?
