Exporting Audio out of sync

Question

Hi All,

After editing mp4 files into an adobe premiere elements 2026 file then exporting to High Quality 1080 preset my audio is out of sync with the video on the mp4 created export file.

The raw footage I imported for editing is perfectly in sync. It's going out of sync on the export.

Note: It does not happen all the time, just in a couple circumstances so far. And this also happened with 2020 before I upgraded to 2026.

Please use the free MediaInfo and post a screenshot of the properties of your media in tree view:

Many users are having issues with VFR. If the file is variable frame rate, use Handbrake to convert to constant frame rate before importing into Premiere Pro:

Shutter Encoder may also be used to convert to Constant Frame Rate:
