whenever i try to open premiere, I get this "failed to perform the database operation as the organizer database is busy premiere elements". on the rare occasions when I can open it, whenever the autosave happens, this error also comes up and closes premiere.

I've been trying for a few hours to find out what's causing this but I can't figure it out, anyone got an answer?

There is sometimes a conflict between the Organizer and Premiere Elements when both are trying to generate operations with the catalog at the same time.

You don't say which method you're using to launch Premiere Elements, but try closing the Organizer before you open it or until it's fully open. Or look in your Task Manager and ensure the Organizer isn't running in the background.

It's not a chronic issue, but occasionally it happens when both programs are trying to do the same thing at the same time.

I have the same problem. This is horrible  since I cannot edit my YouTube  videos.

I'm suddenly getting this all of the time. I never open the organiser. It never happened when i bought it.

Now the program is frequently unusable.. I can't believe a ompany as successful as Adobe can let this fault pass by

. I thought of upgrading to the latest Elements version but i doubt it has been fixed if this hasn't been with 2021 Elements, with updates

Think I'll look for something else..
