File Size increases when export and share

Hello

I have a video clip with the following properties

Type: MPEG Movie (MP4 format)

File Size: 2.24MB

Image size: 1398x786

Frame rate: 23.976

Duration: 30 second

Pixel Aspect Ratio: 1.0

When i bring this clip into Elements 15 and after doing brightness and contrast adjustments, when i do "Export and Share" it creates a file which is much larger and also the image size is different, I am confused as to why it a larger file is created and where is the extra information coming from?

    Hi Amit,

    If you're making adjustments, you're adding information to the file in the form of changed pixels. Exactly, what are the size differences?

    Thanks for the reply, a 1.37mb file MP4 format 1218x624 became

    13.9mb 1280x720

    all i did was change brightness and contrast
