GoPro 10 footage won't upload to Premiere Elements 2022

Hello,

I am so green it's not even funny but here it goes. I recently purchased a GoPro 10 and filmed some 2k/120fps videos on it. I bought and installed Premiere Elements 2022 hoping to edit said videos. Once the load bar comes up for adding media, it just stops. No progress and no response from the app. I have to force quit from task manager to get out of the screen. I have tested other media with a lower resolution and fps which works fine. I'm sorry if this has been addressed elsewhere. I have a hard time believing this program can't handle the footage. Is there something i'm missing?

Correct answer Steve Grisetti

Premiere Elements can't work with 120 fps video. So I'd say first and foremost that that is your issue.

As an experiment, convert a sample of your video using the instructions in my tutorial and see if that solves your issue.

Thank you Steve!

I tried going back again with 2k/60fps and it worked. I can edit using Premiere Elements 2022 just fine now!
