GoPro Hero 7 Black files are not uploading in Premiere Elements 2019

Premiere Elements 2019 is giving me a message "This type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed" when I try to upload my GoPro Hero 7 Black files shot in 4k 60fps.  What are the solutions so I can edit my video files?  Using Handbrake to change the codec is time consuming.  Is there a better fix so I don't have to process all my new videos?  Any help in this matter is greatly appreciated.

That too. But mainly is doesn't support the H.265 HEVC codec.

The codec for this file is identified as High Efficiency Coding. That's an H.265 codec (as opposed to the more traditional H.264 usually used to create MP4s).

The H.265 codec is not supported by Premiere Elements and will not edit well in the program.

Open one of those GoPro videos in the free download MediaInfo. In MediaInfo, set View to Text and then copy and post the report it generates to this forum.

If, for instance, this file includes an unsupported codec (say, H.265), this report will determine it.
